Florida KidCare
Florida KidCare is the state’s children’s health insurance program for uninsured children under age 19. It includes four different parts, or programs: MediKids, Healthy Kids, Children's Medical Services and Medicaid. When you apply for the insurance, Florida KidCare will check which program your child may be eligible for based on age and family income.

Prescription Assistance
MAINTAIN (Medicines Assistance for Those who Are In Need) is a program in place by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer that helps patients who are unemployed and uninsured keep taking their Pfizer medications. The program also applies to patients who are taking Wyeth medications as the two companies have merged. Once you qualify, MAINTAIN can provide you or your immediate family with Pfizer medicines free of charge for up to one year, or until you have insurance again.
Do I qualify?
In order to qualify for the MAINTAIN program, you or your immediate family member must meet the following requirements:

Became unemployed on or after January 1, 2009

Were prescribed and taking a Pfizer (or Wyeth) medicine for at least 3 months prior to becoming unemployed and enrolling in the program

Have no prescription coverage

Can attest that you are experiencing a financial hardship

Live in the United States
What medicines can I receive with MAINTAIN?
Many Pfizer brand medicines are available for free. However, if you have been prescribed a specialty or oncology medicine, you may need to qualify for another Pfizer patient assistance program to get help receiving those medicines.
